The OxyELITE Pro Stack

Get the Most out of OxyELITE Pro When Dieting

This is a guide that provides recommendations on how to mix OxyELITE Pro with other foods, supplements, and timing strategies to have the best cut possible while on OEP.

Food Comes First

First, we are obliged to tell you that food comes first. If you are not eating right, then ANY supplementation plan we give you is destined for failure. OxyELITE Pro is a supplement, not a pill that allows you to be lazy. We assume that you have your diet down and are actively monitoring it. If you don’t know where to start, see the OxyELITE Pro Diet page, talking about our philosophy, which also has more links to get you going!

We fully believe in eating REAL food – not processed food by-products that come out of a box. Colorful and leafy vegetables, meat, nuts, fish/seafood, seeds, poultry, eggs, pork, and natural fats from meat, salmon, coconuts, avocados, nuts, and the like. Low-glycemic fruits such as berries and apples can be used sparingly, but too much fructose can keep you from your fat-loss goals.

But that’s not the full point of this article. We’re here to stack supplements after already having a quality diet, so let’s get to it. You can track your calories at Fitday.com, so bookmark that site for later.

Get the Right Protein – Whey Protein Isolate

Chances are, you’re going to be working out hard and will be dropping carbs on your cut. If you want to keep your muscle, you’re going to need a lot of amino-acid-rich protein.

Whey protein is the standard fast-digesting protein that is primarily used in supplementing protein. With whey, there are two main types: whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate. You will get higher quality from whey protein isolate. This is because they have been processed to remove the fat and lactose (milk sugars – not good for cutting!). By weight, they’re 90%+ protein – so you’re getting more protein and less junk. Also, since the lactose is filtered out, you’ll have less gas and cramping.

Whey protein concentrates, on the other hand, don’t have all of the lactose removed. This means you’ll be ingesting extra carbs and sugars, which aren’t ideal for a cut. Concentrates are still low-fat and low-cholesterol, but are also lower quality – 29%-89% protein by weight.

This is why we prefer contains whey protein isolate, and our preferred protein is MTS Whey. It is a pure whey protein from a great brand that tastes amazing and mixes clean. It’s also cheaper than most protein powders you’ll find at the store, and far higher quality!

This Stack can be used by Men OR Women

There is nothing in this stack exclusive to men or women. Women can use this just the same as men, but they might need smaller dosages. A women’s multivitamin should probably be substituted as well.

The Lineup (for the lazy)

Here’s everything we’ll be using:

The OxyELITE Pro Stack Details

Let’s get to work. You can run this stack for a maximum of 8 weeks, and then it’s a good idea to cycle off of all stimulants for 2-4 weeks.

Every Day Cutting Supplements – Multivitamin, Fish Oil and CLA

First, note that all of these everyday supplements can and should be used indefinitely – they are all proven to be long-term safe and effective and don’t need to be cycled. This includes creatine monohydrate, BCAAs, and Whey Protein Isolate too.

Second, note that the products recommended above have nothing to do with USPLabs or OxyELITE Pro. We just like them or they’re incredible deals. Again, we’re not affiliated or employed by USP, just big fans.

  1. Multivitamin

Chances are, you’re on a cutting diet while also working hard, and your body may not be getting every nutrient it wants from your food. Help solve the problem with an equally intense vitamin pack – Opti-Women (or Opti Men). Take the proper dosage each day with a meal and you’re set for the day.

  2. Omega-3 Fatty Acids / Fish Oil

NOW FOODS Omega-3 is great for the heart, joints, and bloodstream – all adults should take this every day. You want an Omega-3:Omega-6 ratio between 1:1 and 1:4 — most Americans have theirs near 1:20 through 1:30, and that’s the real reason why we’re all dying from the inflammation, plaque, and cardiovascular disease. Not convinced? Check out UMM.edu’s page on this.

So to equalize your Omega-3’s, take 4-5 1000mg capsules every night before bed. A cool trick – if you freeze them, they’ll digest slower and you won’t notice any burps (or you’ll be asleep!).

  3. CLAour secret weapon

We really don’t know why more people don’t know about this, but you should read about this stuff and use CLA every day. There are countless CLA Studies showing that it promotes fat-loss, prevents cancer, and is an antioxidant. We recommend 3-4g of when cutting – 3.4g seems to be the maximum effective dose. Best of all, it will only run you about $10/month.

Our recommended CLA is NOW Foods CLA. Take 4g spread throughout the day with meals.

Workout and/or Cardio Days OxyElite Pro Stack

In this stack, we’ll be adding in a low-stimulant fat-burner and Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs). Since we talk about Recreate, you can check out all post about it on the USP forums too.

USPLabs Recreate is a low-stimulant fat-burner that is AWESOME to stack with OxyELITE Pro. This is because it works on different fat-burning pathways, and you’ll get the best of two worlds here. It can also come in handy if you want to use Jack3d (or any other pre-workout supplement) instead of OxyELITE Pro. More on this later.

Keeping BCAAs in your blood and gut helps when you’re cutting so that your body has easy access to aminos when it needs them – otherwise, if it does not, it will attack your muscle tissue and break you down! These also help reduce fatigue and assist in post-workout recovery.

You can use any BCAA product, but we like Modern BCAA. It is a new product from USP, a great deal (a lot of BCAA per dollar) and every flavor is phenomenal! NO BCAA product mixes this well!

  1. First thing in the morning:

1 capsule of Recreate and 1 capsule of OxyELITE Pro as directed by the labels.

  2. 30 Minutes Pre-Workout*:

    Start drinking some Modern BCAA

  3. During Workout/Cardio:

    Sip on Modern BCAA

  4. Post-Workout:

Finish Modern BCAA. This is a good time to add your optional NOW Foods Creatine Monohydrate Powder dosage.

  5. 15 Minutes Post-Workout:

Whey Protein (we recommend the MTS Whey mentioned above)

  6. 30-60min later:

EAT! A good meal high in protein, vegetables, and natural fats.

  7. Hours later, 30 minutes before a meal:

Take 1 more capsule of Recreate and 1 capsule of OxyELITE Pro as directed by the labels.

Off Days – OxyElite Pro Cutting Stack

  1. Get your everyday supplements.
  2. Take OxyELITE Pro and Recreate per the label instructions
  3. Follow your diet!!
  4. Sip on Modern BCAA throughout the day.
  5. If you’re hungry for snacks and want to avoid junk, have a

    Whey Protein Isolate shake.

* Hey – What About Pre-Workout Drinks? I want to take Jack3d!

Good question. USPLabs no longer recommends taking both Jack3d and OxyELITE Pro on the same day – This would be too many stimulants and is not consistent with the labeling. Some people still effectively do this, but we cannot recommend it, nor can USPLabs.

There are two solutions to this problem:

  1. Create your own pre-workout powder by adding to Modern BCAA:

Work out shortly after taking one of your OxyELITE Pro Doses. This will provide great energy and focus. Since you’re already taking Modern BCAA, what you can do is add your own AAKG for pumps and beta alanine for endurance. They’re both cheap and will last forever. About 4g of each should do.

Better yet, USPLabs now has a product out called Yok3d, which is a stimulant-free pump product. You can also consider adding that in. It’s more powerful than AAKG, but a bit more expensive too.

  2. Substitute Jack3d for OxyELITE Pro on Workout Days:

Take Jack3d 30 minutes pre-workout on workout days, but do not take any OxyELITE Pro on that day (all other regimen remains the same). On non-workout days, go back to OxyELITE Pro + Recreate.

Either one works. Jack3d is amazingly fun and promotes fat-loss too, but your investment in OxyELITE Pro already provides half of what you need.

Inspiration and Extra Tips in the Women’s Weight Loss Stack

You can see the Weight Loss Supplements for Women Guide for further ideas. One that we like a lot is how they discuss MCT Oil, which are the good saturated fats from coconut oil.

Like they say, it’s tough to tell you what you need, without seeing the rest of your diet. But the fact remains – you shouldn’t be afraid of the healthy fats!

What about Compound 20

Update – Since we wrote this a while back, Compound 20 has entered the picture. Yes, you can definitely use this product here!! It’s amazing for fat loss!

Tracking And Monitoring

As noted above, diet is most critical. This page was written assuming that you have your diet down and are actively monitoring it in a site like FitDay.com. Check it out if you haven’t yet! Another alternative is My Fitness Pal.

Is the oep and recreate still suggested to stack. Usp labs website says they are not as affective.

    • Admin on March 6th, 2012 at 12:53 pm

Yes I’d consider stacking them if you have the funds – Where does it say that? You may want to start with one supplement at a time to assess, though. For instance, add Recreate to OEP after a month of OEP to make the 2nd 4 weeks even more potent.

  2. Amy on March 14th, 2012 at 1:58 pm

I am interested in doing this stack. I am already taking OEP. (LOVE IT) However, I am also currently taking Anabolic Pump. Where would I incorporate that into this stack? Or should I just continue to take it 30 minutes before a carb meal as needed?

    • Admin on March 14th, 2012 at 2:00 pm

Good question, and yes, you’re right.

Don’t eat too many the carbs (or AP and definitely not OEP for that matter) too late in the day, of course.

  3. Fouad on March 15th, 2012 at 4:08 am

I just completed today taking “Spirodex” 60 capsules fat burner, one capsule in the morning after breakfast, as suggested dosage. In the evening around 21:00hrs, 30-40 minutes before workout I take one scope of whey protine isolate, and one scope after workout. My question here is; After reading this information on OxyELITE Pro, I need to try it, so I need your suggestions please. By the way, I’m 40-year old and started workout since 5 month only.

    • Admin on March 15th, 2012 at 9:17 am

See my other response. Your nutrient timing looks good – consider an empty stomach workout with BCAAs if you can handle working out empty.

  4. Fouad on March 15th, 2012 at 5:54 am

I just completed today usage of Spirodex fat burner “60 capsules” one in the morning after breakfast. In the evening 30-40 minutes pre-workout I take one scope of whey protine isolate and one scope post-workout. Now after knowing about this product OEP, I want to try it, so do you recommend me to start taking it? Thank you.

    • Admin on March 15th, 2012 at 9:17 am

Now would probably be a good time to take a few weeks off of ALL stimulants, and then hit up OEP for 8 weeks full-force.

I’m a huge fan of Spirodex – the mood enhancement is there – but it’s got nowhere near the fat-burning power of OxyELITE. They’re missing a few key ingredients. Cool product either way.

Feel free to post your diet and exercise plan and we can critique.

Follow the label instructions – one (or two) in the morning before breakfast, and about 8 hours later.

First thing in the morning workouts are great for fat burning, but it’s tough to wake up super early. Hopefully you’ll still have some energy going for your 7pm workout!

  6. khairul on March 23rd, 2012 at 2:05 am

    Hi

Just to clarify on this statement,

    30-60min later:
EAT! A good meal high in protein, vegetables, and natural fats.

After an hour of workout, should i consume low GI carb or still go for a high GI at that time?

    • Admin on March 23rd, 2012 at 7:40 am

Lower is better, I just recommend eating real whole foods, not processed grains. Yams and sweet potatoes are best for starchy carb sources if you’re trying to get the muscles pumped, followed by brown rice and oats — but it’s the leafy green veggies that are king. More leaves, less grains.

      • khairul on March 25th, 2012 at 7:28 pm

My routine is a lil bit like this :

600 PM – have my whey protein shake (25 grams or protein)
        630 PM – workout
800 PM – finish workout & have another protein shake (25 + bcaa + creatine
        1000 PM – have a casein shake
1030 PM – go to bed

Is my calorie sufficient to build lean muscle? Do I have to still eat my balance meal at 9 PM ( 1 hour after workout ). Do you think it is ok to have a meal at night and about 1 hour before bed? Just need your opinion.

Thanks a lot for your response mate !

        • Admin on March 26th, 2012 at 10:04 am

That’s great and all, but this is only a supplementation schedule. What’s your FOOD schedule?? What foods are you eating? If you aren’t eating quality, whole foods, it’s all for nothing.

I’d be careful about eating a full meal post workout in your case. 9pm is late and if you don’t do it well, it could go to fat storage. I’d have protein, fat, and green veggies only.

          • khairul on March 26th, 2012 at 5:49 pm

            My food schedule is :
            6.00 am – 2 caps of oxy-elite
            6.30 am – breakfast ( 3 whole eggs , spinach and a wholemeal toast)
            9.30 am – casein shake
12.30 pm – lunch ( roasted chicken breast , some green veggies )
3.00 pm – peanut butter sandwich (wholemeal bread)
            5.00 pm – 1 cap of oxy-elite
            6.00 PM – whey protein shake + 300ml gatorade + creatine
6.30 PM – workout (high intensity full-body workout) + bcaa
            8.00 PM – whey protein shake + 800ml gatorade + creatine + bcaa
            10.00 PM – casein shake
10.30 PM – go to bed

Notice that I don’t have dinner on my training days.
By the way, I am 5 ft 1.42 in with 126 lbs guy and my current bodyfat is around 13%. I am trying to hit below 10% body fat. I just started taking OEP yesterday and I hope adding it into my diet will help me to achieve this.

            Thanks for the advice Mike!

  7. Rey on March 23rd, 2012 at 11:24 pm

I’m currently taking OEP, and just bought Recreate. Should I take 2 OEP & 1 Recreate in the AM or 1 OEP & 1 Recreate? I’m also about to start taking CLA estreme by NOW Sport. and Modern BCAA during my workout.

    • Admin on March 26th, 2012 at 10:02 am

Everything sounds great – I’d do whatever OEP configuration is already working for you, and add Recreate to that (1 cap at a time). OxyELITE is by far the stronger of the two, so keep that dosage at the same spot and add a touch of Recreate.

can we take oxyelite with green tea

    • Admin on March 29th, 2012 at 1:29 pm

Per the label’s instructions, it should not be mixed with any caffeinated drink. Some people who are not taking maximum dose of OxyELITE Pro (such as 1 cap) have gotten away with drinking Green Tea on the opposite side of the day or mid-morning, but the label’s instructions specifically state not to do this. Speak with a doctor before beginning any such supplementation change.

      • CH on April 13th, 2012 at 4:52 pm

I drink a good amount of caffeine every day. If I take OEP in the morning, the caffeine should be mostly processed in my system, so I could drink coffee in the afternoon, right? The warnings say not to combine OEP and caffeine, but if they are offset is it ok?

        • Admin on April 14th, 2012 at 11:32 pm

Officilaly that’s frowned upon, but you have the right idea. Though coffee/caffeine is a thermogenic, why not just take your second dose of OEP instead of the afternoon coffee? It’s better for fat burning and the work focus. If you like the taste of coffee you can always have decaf. And watch out for the liquid calories that come in some coffees (artificial creamers and sugar).

I am on my second day of the Oxy Elite pro. I am looking to loose 15 pounds, Is it enough to take just these pills with a health diet to obtain the weightloss? And of course alot of cardio…..

    • Admin on April 12th, 2012 at 5:51 pm

Not sure how to answer this – the question is too vague. I’d focus on burning bodyfat and overall health factors, not just weight. Also, you need to define what a healthy diet truly is, and what “alot of cardio” is. Check out our article on High Intensity Interval Training for ideas on an extremely important type of cardio (sprinting!) that you should do once a week to trigger fat loss.

  11. Tina on May 17th, 2012 at 10:16 am

. I am a 5″ 4 , 187 lbs female. I have not exercised in years so I am extremely out of shape. I started OEP on May 1st. I eat lots of vegs and drink whey protein. I’m eating a well balanced meal for 3 meals daily plus healthy snacks. I started walking on treadmill for 10 mins then doing 10 mins of crunches and other exercise. Now I weigh 173 lbs and i’m up to 1 hr workouts. I feel fantastic!!! I have sooo much energy now. Most of my weight is in my belly and even tho I have lost weight, my belly still looks almost as large. Is there any thing you can recommend, ie, supplement or exercise that targets the belly?? Thanks

    • Admin on May 17th, 2012 at 6:06 pm

Hey, glad you feel so great! It’s going to take more time and patience, so hang in there!

You’re going to need to start focusing on full-body weight training. You don’t need to lift epic heavy weights, but you should start work on toning those muscles. You might not “lose weight” when this happens because toned muscle is heavier than fat — but it’s the way to burn the fat, which is the ultimate goal!

This is a process, not an event. It took time to put the bodyfat on, and it will take time to get it back. Do not lose faith! You are simply not there yet, but keep the pace slow, steady, and healthy!

I have heard of OEP being stacked with alpha t-2 and erase. Both by PES. Is this safe or very dangerous?

    • Admin on May 29th, 2012 at 9:18 am

I would consider this an “expert” stack. My biggest concern is that you’d be mixing two products (in OEP and Alpha T-2) that both have Rauwolscine. I’d see how you tolerate each company’s products individually, and if all is well, give it a shot at the low doses. If that works, slowly up to your preferred dosage. But definitely not a beginner stack.

Hi I just wondering if I can take the creatine at same time with the EOP? I am very happy with the results using the EOP for 8 weeks before Im using it I am 35 in wait line and 73 kilogram, noe I am 68 kilo and 32 in waist line. This stuff is really recommendable to anybody who want to change their eating habbit for no appetite.

    • Admin on June 6th, 2012 at 12:43 pm

Absolutely. We’re all for using anything that will help put on muscle. Taking it can then indirectly help burn fat. Just make sure you stick with some high quality stuff, like 100% CreaPure or Athletic Xtreme’s German Creatine. The cheap junk made in China is not really to be trusted.

You should cycle it per the directions at the OxyELITE Pro Instructions page.

The off period is a great time to get off of ALL stimulants, reset your adrenals, and test your LIFESTYLE (not diet). If you begin adding fat again, then your diet is not properly dialed in. This is a good time to test if you can maintain or continue losing. You can’t be on this stuff forever, after all.

Meal replacements are garbage. Eat real food from mother nature – preferably colorful leafy vegetables, natural fats, and clean proteins.

But yes, you “can” take it. Your results will be dependent on your diet.

ive just completed the first course of 8weeks.excellant results!!! im now on a 4wk break. what supplement would you advise during this break. please give me a dosage schedule also.

    • Admin on June 15th, 2012 at 8:11 am

      CONGRATS!!

Compound 20 and Recreate (which is very low-stim, like a cup of tea) would help, and low-carb whey protein or whey protein isolate shakes post-workout and in place of bad snacking. Healthy fats like a tablespoon of MCT oil in your whey protein once a day has been shown to have lots of success (http://www.nutritionreview.org/library/mcts.php). This is a healthy fat that’s incredible, but I have failed to mention it on this site.

But right now, this is your chance to test out your lifestyle diet. Keep working out, and don’t fret over a little plateau or slowed weight loss. This is what things should be like when you are very close to your goals – maintenance!

  19. Ann on July 13th, 2012 at 4:43 pm

I started using the OEP today. Took one capsule and felt great! It definetely curbed my appetite. I am a female in mid 40’s looking to lose 40 pounds. i eat a sensible diet. I do cardio 3-4 times a week using a bowflex treadclimber. Started incorporating weights into my routine. All of my exercise is done at home. My question relates to the recommended stack. If I add the Recreate with OEP will I see greater results than using OEP alone? What will BCAA do for my weight loss and/or exercise routine since I am not a heavy weight lifter, just someone who started using small amounts of weights for resistance training. Looking for products to work together in my weight loss journey. Thanks for your help!

    • Admin on July 16th, 2012 at 2:50 pm

Recreate uses some different fat-burning pathways, so it should. Not everyone sees crazy results on it like they do with OxyELITE – and that makes sense because it’s low-stim. But if you have the budget to throw “everything you’ve got” at the problem, then give it a go!

BCAA is more about keeping muscle tone and endurance up while you’re in a restricted diet. You’ll recover faster, be less sore, and ANYTHING that promotes anabolism (muscle-building / muscle-keeping) is indirectly involved in “fat burning” too. BCAAs aren’t about hugeness, they’re about overall health and tone. Studies back it too – in one study, ha igh BCAA diet group lost 17.3% more body fat in the abdominal region.

Hi. I wanted to know if I can use OEP to lose weight. I am a mail carrier in Texas and do a lot of walking in the heat (this is my exercise) as I can’t get to the gym due to my work schedule. I wanted this as an appetite suppressant and for energy. Is this a good product for this?

Yes, but you MUST stay hydrated – both with water and electrolytes. I’d start with the minimum dosage (just 1 cap in the morning) drink Modern BCAA (http://www.modernbcaa.com) throughout the day – 1 scoop with ~30oz water in both the morning and afternoon. It’s going to be all about hydration for you – Texas is only going to get hotter over the next few months!

I am currently taking oep with 100% whey protein. I am looking to lose fat around the midsection and build muscle. I was wondering if I can also stack muscle prime from usplabs with what I am already taking. I work out every day except weekends tho I am going to start weekends to. On workout days I take two oep in the morn thn whey protein 15 mins aftr thn a light breakfastg 15 mins aftr tht. At around 5 I take another pill thn go workout thn anthr protein drink aftr my workout thn I eat dinner around 7 or 8. Will prime be a good additive?

Sounds good. Prime is always great to stack for anyone trying to tone or build muscle. It’s hard to explain, but it’s really a great “stacker” but I don’t feel much from it as a standalone supplement. The problem is the expense. Personally, if budget is small, and you’re trying to drop fat, I’d rather toss Compound 20 in instead.

I just wanted to let you know that the capsule of OED DOES contain gluten. I just received this email from the manufacturer today:

    Hello,

The capsule which holds the powder contains wheat starch in it. You can always open
the capsule and dump the powder out into water/juice and take it that way. The
contents inside do not have any added gluten.

    Thanks.

Is there anything i can take during the 4 week cycle off period to keep energy and focus up along with lower appetite?

    • Admin on September 27th, 2012 at 9:20 am

Good question – My off-cycle consists of the following:
      – Compound 20 (http://www.compound20.net)
      – Rhodiola Rosea (I like the Vitamin Shoppe brand)
      – Panax Ginseng
      – Yok3d if you are weightlifting, or on heavy days.

I would like some feedback on my stack please I am currently trying to cut fat and to e and build muscle. I am following the Jamie Eason Live Fut program on BB.c I am on day 17 and I am very consistent with following it the T. I drink a whey isolate shake by syntrax as soon as I wake up in the morning and I take2 oxy elite at tat time. I then go get dressed for work etc and I have breakfast about 1 hour later consisting of 5 egg whites a bottled water 1fish oil pill, 2cla pills two hours later I drink a protein shake and take a multivitamin. 3 hours later its time for lunch I,e spinach leaves 3oz chicken and a bottled water 1fish oil pill , 2cla pills, and a green tea pill. Two hours later another protein shake. I workout at 530pm at5pm I take my second oxy elite and eat some type of carb like an apple or some trail mix and a tablespoon of l carnitine. For my workout I lift weights and spend 30 min on the elliptical. Post workout i take another tablespoon of l carnitine and I drink a whey isolate drink. For dinner I would have something like grilled chicken broccoli and black beans. I track everything on MFP. Do you have any suggestions or comments I would like to get to 19%body fat

That looks absolutely incredible. Where are your macros ending up though? Is 5 egg whites enough for breakfast?

Sounds like a killer plan, but would need to see the macros.

Regarding L-Carnitine – any specific type? L-Carnitine itself hasn’t shown a ton of success in burning fat in research studies, but a few of it’s derivatives have. You have Propionyl L-Carnitine, or PLCAR, which is the true fat killer of the bunch. Then there’s Acetyl L-Carnitine, or ALCAR, which is awesome for brain focus and endurance. Then there’s L-Carnitine L-Tartrate, or LCLT, which rocks for hormonal response (a bit better for the guys) and the liver.

So on your next run of L-Carnitine, I’d consider finding some PLCAR specifically. But that’s just details.

Also, make sure you’re getting in some MCTs. I like to cook with a bit of coconut oil, but you can also add a bit of MCT Oil to the shake/meal that occurs closest to your workout. It gets metabolized into the muscles as energy, despite being a fat.

    That looks pretty good!

Personally, I see no benefits of having Gatorade ever, especially that late in the day. A bunch of sucrose (or high fructose corn syrup depending on what exactly you’re drinking) with no fiber added is very counter productive to burning fat — especially when you’re already on BCAA!

Also, I personally prefer to get some oats and sweet potatoes/yams in there instead of all of the bread-based grains. Much more nutrients than the toast. But first things first — you’re at 13% BF and can really start dialing in by tweaking things one at a time. Your first tweak should be to drop the Gatorade. Go for a week with this and assess. The second tweak a couple of weeks later would be to drop some of the bread in favor of the carb equivalent of yams.

One thing you’re not getting enough of may be healthy saturated fats and omega-3’s. Just a bit from the eggs, but I’d want more. Using MCT Oil will help with this – it can be a tablespoon in your pre workout shake, or a tbsp as a part of your olive oil based salad dressing. As for Omega 3’s, I’d take fish oil supplements high in DHA/EPA if you haven’t eaten fatty fish like wild salmon that day.

Finally, is 5pm too late for you on OxyELITE Pro? If you can’t sleep, take it a bit earlier. But overall, this looks pretty kickass (minus gatorade).

    Thanks for your advice Mike,
I just thought I need a fast absorbing carbs after workout, that’s why i use gatorade.
What’s your recommendation to subs gatorade? As far as I know, we need a large ratio of carbs ( more than protein ) after every workout.
As for my diet, I’ll try to drop my bread intake & follow your advice. I will definitely update my progress after 2 months.
    Thanks again Mike.

What is your primary goal? If it’s “build muscle”, then hit up your carbs – but I prefer pure dextrose (which is straight glucose) if you’re going for that insulin spike.

Since you’re on a fat burner’s website, I figure that burning fat is your primary goal. To that extent, the negatives of drinking too much sucrose do not outweight the positives. Sure, you will spike the insulin less and get less muscle growth, but you’ll also get less “insulin overflow” that leads to the fat storage.

When you have time, watch this video. It’s incredible and discusses the problems of getting all of the “fructose without the fiber”. Sucrose is half fructose (better than full on high fructose corn syrup, but still not healthy).
Sugar: The Bitter Truth (YouTube). Real good stuff, especially if you like getting technical.

My primary goal is to lose fat, but to retain my muscle as well. Its like to burn the final kgs of fat around my mid-section.Anyway, I’ll subs my gatorade with other fast acting carbs like pure dextrose, or fruits instead? (apples, oranges). Fruits got fibres right?
I am on the 4th day of taking OEP. I feel more energized during the day, and so far I got no problem sleeping at night. I feel the extra boost as well during my workout.
Great site Mike, thanks again for your advice! I find it so useful.

Excellent!!! Yes, low glycemic fruit instead of gatorade is smart. I’m a big fan of any berry and apples. Adjust the dosages as you start getting “dialed in”, and update soon!

Hi Mike, Ive been using OEP for a month now, and my current body fat has reduced to 10-11%. I notice my obliques muscle is visible now, and without a doubt I am very happy with this product. I lessen my wholemeal bread intake, I opt for oats, and I stop taking gatorade before workout as per your advice. Last month I completed a 4-miles open sea swimming race here in Malaysia. I took 2 caps of OEP before the race and it really helps to boost my energy. Maybe you can join me and participate in the race next year !

Hey congrats Khairul! I’m emailing you some questions about that – I have some friends in Malaysia and would definitely consider this!

    Cheers!
